Over the past 60 years we have become well known for our extensive inventory of circular and commercial electronic connectors. Today, we have expanded our products to include switches, tools, & accessories totaling over 192,000 Unique Part Numbers. ECCO has earned quality certifications to assemble connectors that meet demanding industrial, energy, transportation, & military specifications. | 1987 | Anixter Brothers, Inc. acquires ECCO and Chuck Engvall becomes president of the Company. |
| 1993 | Arris Group Inc. (NasdaqGS:ARRS), formerly known as Antec Corporation, was separated from Anixter, ECCO moves with the new company and becomes a division of the Arris Group. |
| 2000 | ECCO becomes ISO 9001-2000 certified. |
| 2012 | ECCO is acquired from the Arris Group Inc. with new ownership and Bernard Gizzi, an experienced electronic industry executive begins its transformation. |
| 2013-2015 | Years of investment: Sales & Marketing expansion, new products & services, infrastructure refreshed, ITAR registration, suppliers added, value added services expanded, Successful ERP system & WEB upgrades. |
| 2016-2019 | D38999 assembly QPL, social media launch, AS9100C certification, transactional web site refresh, management team additions, & ShrinkMate manufacturing and facilities expansion. |
| 2020-2022 | Downers Grove, IL USA HQ established, NEW AXIOM ERP successfully launched completing a 5 year IT migration. Added new suppliers and products. Enhanced assembly and distribution capabilities. |
